How to use it

A commercial and criminal law query of the kind law firms receive: a supplier owed €32,000, an inactive company with losses and a director who has moved the machinery to another company of his. In a single answer Jurenza brings together the Spanish Companies Act, the Criminal Code and the Civil Procedure Act: which actions can be brought against the director and on what conditions, whether there is a criminal route and for which offence, and the practical detail that decides the case (the presumption in art. 367.2 of the Companies Act). On the left, the question and an excerpt of the answer; on the right, the text of the articles it cites, so they can be checked. The demo keeps the original Spanish, as Jurenza works with Spanish law. The interface is a recreation; to use Jurenza for real there is a free trial at jurenza.com.

A lawyer can’t use an answer they can’t verify. Jurenza answers with Spanish legislation and case law and shows where every statement comes from.

§ 01

What it is

A legal research assistant for independent lawyers and law firms. The lawyer describes the matter in their own words and Jurenza answers based on legislation and case law, with the reference for each statement right beside it so it can be checked. Within each matter you can add documents and prepare an editable draft in Word.

§ 02

Why

General-purpose AI writes with great confidence and sometimes makes up court rulings. In a law firm that is a professional risk. Jurenza starts from the opposite idea: the answer is a starting point; the source and the lawyer’s judgement close the analysis.

§ 03

What I have done

I founded it and run it end to end: product, technology and business, from the first conversations with lawyers to putting it into production. Privacy and professional secrecy come first: content is encrypted and clients’ matters are not used to train models.

§ 04

What I take away

Building a product is half the job. The other half is getting a demanding professional to trust it, and you earn that by showing the sources, not hiding them.
